The Wisdom Year, 2026
The Wisdom Year is a year long commitment to a practice of rediscovery, in a small community (cohort)
of like minded seekers, of our intimacy with soul.
- reducing estrangement from the soul
- finding reunification
a series of Zoom meetings and 3 in-person cohort immersions in Okla, New Mexico, and NW Arkansas
As Carl Jung taught, and Stephen Jenkinson says, "we are relentlessly orphans"
estranged from our wisdom traditions, the divine within and around us, our ancestors,
and our true selves.
The post-modern life is quite persuasive, convincing us again and again that we can gain
sufficient spiritual meaning from wealth, technology, consumption, and addiction.
It sells us on avoidance, on a denial of the love & loss that is inextricably ingrained in our intimacy
with others and in the ultimate intimacy, death.
The Wisdom Year, 2024 is a commitment opportunity for you.
It is a significant commitment to self and the soulful life that is quite adamant
about what must be lived through you.
Your families and community will benefit from these ripples you create for yourself.
We will form an intimate cohort and draw upon (some of the) wisdom traditions, Carl Jung and modern teachers like: Pema Chodron, Joseph Campbell, Richard Rohr, Joanna Macy, Wendell Berry, Bill Plotkin, Francis Weller, and Stephen Jenkinson.

Course Fee is: $160 a month (from Dec 2025 to Nov. 2026) . For a total of $1,920. Can pay monthly, every quarter, or the full amount at the start.
The fee covers:
all zoom teachings & council, retreat accommodations, and one community dinner at each retreat, plus snacks & fruit, coffee/tea.....
travel to and from in-person retreats is not covered.... refunds are prorated.
Capped at 10 people. ZOOM dates and times, and retreat dates, will be determined by what works best for the cohort that we create.
