a vision fast is a modern rite of passage that involves spending time alone in nature for an extended period of time, often with minimal or no food. The practice can last from a few hours to several days, and participants leave behind human-made distractions and daily comforts. The goal is to gain insights into one's life, aspirations, and the stories they choose to live by. Many people experience deep contentment, inner freedom and serenity from a vision fast experience. In particular, this offering is centered around repair work for the hurts, grudges and grief one carries toward self and others. If you have questions,
reply to this email, and we will set up a call.
this offering consists of various guided forgiveness and self-forgiveness practices,
both in trusted council and in solitude during your fast.
this wildlife refuge is a beautiful but barren desert-type landscape,
ideal for a deep winter turn into one's interior

“Given that the human soul is the very core of our human nature,
we might note that, when we are guided by soul,
we are guided by nature. Both soul and greater nature do guide us
in our individual development, whether or not we ask for this guidance.”
- Bill Plotkin
"On forgiveness... we don’t have to carry the burden with us anymore.
We will discover forgiveness as a natural expression of the open heart, an expression of our basic goodness."
- Pema Chodron
